The Premier Cru Marconnets vineyard sits at the northern end of Beaune's premier cru belt, bordering Savigny-lès-Beaune, and produces some of the more structured, age-worthy reds in the appellation. Chanson is one of Beaune's oldest négociant-éleveurs, with a relationship to these vineyards measured in centuries. This has the depth to match a classic beef bourguignon, venison, or aged Époisses cheese.
